Stilltone is an ambient sound app designed around a simple principle: what you listen to is nobody's business but yours.
Nothing. Stilltone collects no data of any kind.
Stilltone keeps no record of your activity at all. The app doesn't save your sound choices, volumes, or timer settings — every session starts fresh by design. Nothing is written to your device beyond the app itself, and nothing ever leaves it.
Stilltone requests no permissions. It does not access your microphone, location, contacts, photos, or any other personal information. Audio playback in the background and on the lock screen uses standard iOS media features that require no access to your data.
Stilltone offers one optional in-app purchase — a one-time unlock for the full sound library. Purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. Stilltone never sees, receives, or stores your payment details. Whether you've unlocked the full version is confirmed through Apple's system each time the app opens; we keep no record of it ourselves. Everything else in the app works with no network connection at all.
Stilltone is suitable for all ages. Because the app collects no data, no children's data is collected either.
If a future version of Stilltone ever changes any of the above, this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the change will be noted in the App Store release notes.
